Managed Drone Services

Aerial Works supplies the people, aircraft and day-to-day management for a drone security service that works with your existing security team.

A managed service, from flight planning to reporting

Your site plan brings together pilots, aircraft, operational planning, maintenance, command and control, live observation and reporting. We define patrol priorities, communication channels and reporting formats with your security managers before flights begin.

During a patrol, pilots relay relevant activity to the control room so ground teams can assess events and coordinate a response. Flight records and incident reports help managers review what happened and refine future patrols.

Dock-based drone surveillance

A drone stationed at your site provides a practical base for recurring patrols and response support. Remote pilot supervision, visual and thermal cameras, planned routes and communications are managed as part of the service.

A site assessment checks the docking location, communications, power, operating area and applicable permissions. The aircraft supports your security team within a defined flight plan and operating procedures.

Multirotor security operations

Multirotor aircraft support closer inspection of perimeters, access points and areas where your ground team needs a clearer view. Pilots can examine activity from different viewpoints and share live video with the control room.

The patrol plan considers obstacles, people, site activity and safe launch and recovery areas. Visual and thermal cameras are selected for the task.

Fixed-wing VTOL patrols

Fixed-wing aircraft with vertical take-off and landing support patrols across larger sites and linear routes, including pipelines and dispersed infrastructure.

Aircraft selection follows the route, terrain, communications and launch and recovery conditions. Pilots coordinate patrol activity with your control room and the relevant teams on the ground.

Visual and thermal drone patrols

Visual cameras help pilots examine activity and provide context. Thermal cameras help distinguish heat sources when lighting is limited, supporting night patrols within the approved operating scope.

Pilots interpret camera information alongside the site layout and reports from ground teams. Findings can be relayed live and documented for subsequent review.

Command and control integration

We plan live video, communications and pilot coordination around your control room. Mobile or fixed facilities connect flight crews with the people responsible for site security.

Before operations begin, we define who receives information, how events are escalated and what is recorded. The service includes the reporting needed to review patrols and incidents.

Choose the platform around your site

A dock-based service, multirotor aircraft or fixed-wing VTOL platform may suit different parts of a site. We assess patrol routes, camera tasks, terrain, communications, staffing and maintenance together. Operating permissions and site procedures form part of that decision.

Questions about the service

Can the drone service work with our current security company?

Yes. Pilots, live video and reporting can be coordinated with your existing control room and ground teams. We establish responsibilities, communication channels and escalation procedures with you.

What information do you need for a site assessment?

A site outline, access arrangements, existing security procedures, priority patrol areas and the events your team needs to assess are useful starting points. We then review terrain, communications and flight planning with you.

Does a dock remove the need for a pilot?

Dock-based surveillance remains a managed service with remote pilot supervision. Flight planning, aircraft readiness, maintenance and the applicable operating permissions still govern each deployment.
